West Street, at around six-thirty this evening…

Post number 333 – Fratton station around daybreak…and Portsmouth Guildhall swaying in the wind ;)

Fratton railway station at around 7.15 this morning…

A ferocious gust of wind as I entered Portsmouth’s Guildhall Square this morning…either that, or I had the camera’s quasi-fisheye functionality switched on ;)…

And this is what it really looked like…Portsmouth’s Guildhall, watched over by Queen Victoria, far left…

A postbox revisited…and a couple of evening moonshots…

Postbox…Segensworth Road West, Titchfield…

The moon, as seen through some Fareham street furniture…

The moon over Portsmouth Harbour this evening…and the closest I’ll ever get to astro-photography ;)…

Monday…Commercial Road and St John, Portsmouth Catholic Cathedral by night…

Roadside postbox, Segensworth Road West, Titchfield…

Commercial Road, Portsmouth City Centre…

St John, Portsmouth Catholic Cathedral…with a statue of St John the Evangelist…

Time’s now running out for this photoblog…so today’s theme…clocks ;)

A cold and rainy day in Maidstone town…Maidstone United 2 Salisbury City 0…yay, come on you Stones…:)

Pre-match formalities and civilities…two teams, mascots, match officials…

Salisbury City were 2-0 down at half-time, despite they playing in a higher league (this was an FA Trophy first round tie), and for some reason, they spent two-thirds of the half-time break on the pitch…as a punishment from their manager maybe, who knows?

Some very happy Stones fans acclaiming their victorious team after the game..:)

An afternoon visit to the British Museum…and a free early evening gig at the QEH…

The British Museum, in Great Russell Street…

Lely’s Venus…and how many millions of eyes have now gazed upon her over the years 😉

The guitarist and double-bassist of the John Crawford Quintet, performing in the Front Room of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, in the free, and well attended, ‘Friday Tonic’ gig at 5.30 pm today….

A soirée with some old London work colleagues at the Nell of Old Drury…

Feeling a bit peckish, so I treated myself to a latke in pitta bread with houmous and salad from Gaby’s Deli in the Charing Cross Road…

The Apple Market at Covent Garden Piazza…

And so there we spent the evening reminiscing…and for the record, it was John, James, Mick, Lesley, Cathy, Catherine, Sara, Colin, Gavin and myself…on the first floor of the Nell of Old Drury, Catherine Street, Covent Garden….

Yellow, blue, red…

Yellow flower, behind Fareham Shopping Centre this morning…

Blue ticket machines, Portsmouth Harbour this evening…
