Only the blue one at the bottom, which I bought in celebration of the New Millenium a dozen years ago; the others are XQ’s, and none of them were particularly expensive :). Actually, I was very conscious of time yesterday, as I’d bought a couple of tickets on the internet for the 14.30 showing of the new James Bond film ‘Skyfall’ at Gunwharf Quays, and was travelling back from London yesterday morning, only to discover there was engineering work on the line between Guildford and Haslemere! That made it all a bit hit-and-miss whether I’d get to Gunwharf in time, but I got there on time in the end, and both XQ and I enjoyed the film. Have you seen it?
Loving the kitchen clock, how very unusual! I can’t remember the last time we went to the cinema. I expect we will be going to see the Hobbit part 1 over Xmas, we’re both suckers for a spot of Middle Earth.
In the half-hour advertising run-up to the showing of ‘Skyfall’ yesterday, the Hobbit film was one of the ones they were promoting, along with ‘Life of Pi’, and ‘Les Miserables’, among others. I think I might go to see at least one of those films with XQ, probably the ‘Life of Pi’, but I’m not altogether sure yet…
In very late answer to your question ~ sorry ~ no, I haven’t seen it. I am not a fan of James Bond and prefer drama to make believe 🙂 My husband loves JB though and must have watched the films hundreds of times now!!
I haven’t been to the cinema for quite a while as I find the soundtrack deafening and end up with a headache ~ which is ridiculous really, as, in real life my hearing is getting rubbish ~ haha!
I’m not a particular fan of James Bond myself, and you could count the number of JB films I’ve seen on the fingers of one hand. That said, and for all its implausibility (okay then, let’s use your words, ‘make believe’ :)), I did enjoy ‘Skyfall’.
Actually, I react in a similar way to the way that you do to cinema soundtracks, whenever I hear house/rap/hiphop or whatever, but my saying that is a bit rich really, when I think back to some of the sounds I assaulted my ears with in my youth…Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple etc ;)…
I love them ~ are they all yours?? 🙂
