Outside it’s dark and wet…so some indoor photos instead ;)

A banknote that appealed to me aesthetically when I saw it at a Charing Cross fair a few weeks ago ๐Ÿ™‚

A memento from last night’s gig in Albert Road, Southsea ๐Ÿ™‚

Pure self-indulgence this, but I thought I’d record it for posterity…today was the day this site went through the 5000 views barrier, so grateful thanks to all who have viewed it, ‘liked’ specific posts, and, of course, very special thanks to three women in particular, who have been regular visitors here since the beginning of 2012…I’m sure they know who they are ๐Ÿ™‚ x

Singers and statues…

I’ve tickets for two gigs in Southsea next week: the wonderful Joan on the Monday, and a nostalgia trip with the Manfreds (once with Paul Jones et al) on the Thursday :).

…and talking of singers, on my first visit to this pub, some two and a half years ago, I encountered a bloke in the bar who turned out to be the 80’s singer Adam Ant, who was staying upstairs in the B & B at the time ;).

A West Street sunrise…and a pink scooter in Southsea

Wandered along West Street, Fareham into the sunrise…

…and this is looking back along West Street heading towards Fareham station.

…and at the other end of the day, I picked up a couple of tickets for a Joan Armatrading gig at the Kings Theatre in Albert Road, Southsea, next Monday, then photographed this outside…for an upcoming production of ‘Grease’.

Southsea at twilight and beyond, and a must-see gig…
