Three random snapshots in London in August ;).

Side of a tourist stall near Charing Cross station…

Another manifestation of the London 2012 mascot, this one, Novel Wenlock, behind St-Martin-in-the-Fields Church, in Adelaide Street.

An interesting looking Burlesque act, performing on the South Bank in December 2012, here advertised in the Priceless London Wonderground, near the London Eye.

What is it like now in London ~ people wise ~ is it filling up a bit yet?
I guess it could be just me ~ but I find those mascots a bit creepy ~ very strange looking creatures! :-S
I agree about the ‘interesting’ burlesque show ~ haha! Did you get your tickets? đ
Yes, London is still a pretty crowded city, even if there has been some displacement of folk from one area to another during the Olympics. As for the mascots, the wenlocks, I don’t think that you’re at all alone in thinking them a bit creepy; I don’t especially like them either, but with these little statues, I think they’re making the best of a bad job, and plenty of tourists seem to want to be photographed with them.
Haha, no, I’ve not bought tickets to see Meow Meow yet, but I may do so later in the year; I do actually like Burlesque acts generally, and I went to see the Hurly Burly Show a few months ago, which I enjoyed. And to be sure, I much prefer Burlesque to Beach Volleyball ;).
