Reflections on three figures in the Naomi House Charity Shop, West Street, Fareham
I pass this shop most days, without ever having given too much thought to the charity behind it, Naomi House Children’s Hospice, which ‘provides care for children with life-limiting conditions’. So, there seems, to me at least, to be a certain poignant aptness to these images: three ethereal young adult figures, perhaps representing some of those children who are unfortunate enough to never attain young adulthood. And to be sure, I’ll be making a donation to the charity in the coming days…
