A West Street sunrise…and a pink scooter in Southsea
Wandered along West Street, Fareham into the sunrise…
…and this is looking back along West Street heading towards Fareham station.
…and at the other end of the day, I picked up a couple of tickets for a Joan Armatrading gig at the Kings Theatre in Albert Road, Southsea, next Monday, then photographed this outside…for an upcoming production of ‘Grease’.

I love that scooter. I always wanted to ride one when I was young, but was too nervous after my sister came off of hers on her first trip out and never rode it again!
I understand where you’re coming from; in my late teens or early twenties, I got myself a – Yamaha RD 175, I think it was – motorbike, and first time out on that, I was riding too fast along a winding country lane, and came flying off, fortunately without doing too much damage to myself. I subsequently got a Honda CB 200, but never did much motorbiking on it, and sold it to my brother-in-law in the end. No, motorbiking was never really my thing ;).
