Farewell to Fareham…the final three photos of Fareham on this photoblog ;)

A rainy West Street at around seven this evening…

A rather appealing figurine in the window of H. Samuel in Fareham Shopping Centre…

The sheep are cute, too! (My Chinese zodiac sign.) I’ll miss Fareham and all the other places. What comes next?
Ah, andelieya, so your Chinese zodiac sign is a sheep! If you were wondering, mine’s a horse 🙂 . As for what comes next, I’ve not yet decided; yizhivika.com is essentially a one year, one-off project (inspired by wightvixen incidentally, who is doing something similar), and the three-photo-uploads-a-day discipline will definitely come to an end on the 31st December this year. Beyond that, I shall still continue to take an interest in your blog, and I may continue blogging myself, but if I do, it will be a blog with fewer photos and more words than yizhivika.com in its present incarnation. Whatever, I hope we’ll stay in touch, and that’s true for secret squirrel and wightvixen too, who’ve both been following this blog since its very beginning on the 1st January this year :).
Change is good. Your blog is an expression of you. It will be exciting, and I let myself be surprised by what your blog may evolve into. I’ll be delighted to stay in touch, yizhivika. 🙂
Farewell to Fareham from me to ~ unless Ferneham Hall calls again! 😉
All finished with work for Christmas now?
I love the figurine ~ very pretty and colourful.
I think West Street was where we wandered on that Bank Holiday. 🙂
Well, who’s to say your talented daughter won’t someday put on a sell-out performance at the Ferneham Halls, with us both in the audience :). Yes, I really like that figurine too, but it doesn’t come cheap; I think it was priced at around a hundred and fifty quid! And yes, I’m sure it was along West Street that you and H would have wandered on that Bank Holiday, the one when I first met you both in the Lysses House Hotel :).
As a postscript to this, I wandered past H. Samuel’s in Fareham Shopping Centre on my way to work this morning, and saw that the said figurine had been reduced from £150 to £36.99 (because there was no box for it!) so it was a bit of a no-brainer really, and the lady in the red kimono left the shop with me ;).
Wow! What a bargain! Who wants a box anyway. It will be a reminder of your year of photos! 🙂
Have a very happy and healthy 2013 and a nice rest from your daily task. 🙂 Hope to see you at one of H’s gigs sometime. Not sure what she will do yet when she finishes uni……decisions decisions! 🙂
Haha…yes, that’ll be a good and appropriate memento of the year :). And a very happy and healthy 2013 to you too :). Whatever H decides to do beyond University, she’s a talented young woman with a beautiful voice, and I hope to see you both again sometime, somewhere…:)
