You’re very observant, andelieya; I hadn’t even noticed the little bird on the spire until you mentioned it ;). As for the Kam Palace, I was quite surprised the first time that I saw it; I wasn’t expecting to see such a grand building in semi-rural Hampshire. I’ve yet to sample its culinary delights, although I have had the occasional pub lunch in ‘The Talisman’ pub next door ;). And yes, I know you’re partial to trees, so it’s good to be able to repay your generosity of spirit in liking so many of these posts and commenting upon them, by taking a photograph or two with you in mind :).
Okay, andelieya, will do :). By coincidence, some of my work colleagues are going there for their Christmas Meal on Thursday of this week. Anyway, I’ll let you know of my visit in due course, so please let me know if you change your email address :).
When I first looked I thought you were in a foreign country for Christmas, as I didn’t recognise the pictures at all 😉
What a lovely building the Kam Palace is!! 🙂
Haha…I must confess I did feel a bit of a foreigner when I began working in Hampshire, having been connected to London for so long…and I agree the Kam Palace is a lovely building, with its arch, reminiscent of ones I’ve seen in the Chinatowns in London and Liverpool ;).
Love the little bird on the spire! The Chinese restaurant looks very inviting. And the tree, well, you know how partial I am to trees. 🙂

Thank you so much, yizhivika! That’s awfully kind of you. Let me know how you like the food at Kam Palace should you ever decide to go there.

Sounds like so much fun, yizhivika! My favorite Chinese dish is Hunan tofu. I don’t expect my email address to change anytime soon. 🙂
