I used to love Oxford Street when I was younger, and go there quite regularly when Donna was small and I lived in London for a while. I haven’t been there for many years, but from pictures it still looks much the same. Lovely photos ~ finished off very prettily by the snow flakes! 🙂

  2. Nice! Your screen snow looks really cool against those enlarged nighttime Christmas shots. 🙂

  3. Yes, some of the shops have changed over the years, and the products that they are selling, but the shopping experience is much the same year upon year :). I’ve no idea what percentage of IoW folk pop over to the mainland to do their Christmas shopping, but I’d guess it’s a more pleasant experience staying on the Island and doing it there :).

  4. Thanks, andelieya :). In fact, it began to rain as I wandered along Oxford Street, from Oxford Circus to Marble Arch, so I took refuge in a huge and famous London store called Selfridges, where I happened to chance upon a couple of fairies, or maybe they were angels, rollerskating around the floor ;).
