Bonfire and fireworks at Cosham…

Health and safety concerns ensured that we were all kept a couple of hundred yards distant from the bonfire, and the 3x zoom I used gives a slight illusion of the fire being dangerously close to the trees beyond…

As firework displays go, this was an excellent one, lasting a full twenty minutes 🙂

The results of most firework photography is unpredictable, and this is clearly suffering from a bit of camera-shake. However, I can delude myself it’s a bit of modern art ;).

  2. Yes, XQ said she liked it too, so I uploaded it here in preference to some of the others I took last night. Obviously it was a completely unplanned and random shot, but interestingly, when I rotated the image through four 90 degree turns, I think this is the only one that really works as an image, ‘flowing’ as it were, from top right to bottom left…
