It was hard to work out what that place was in front of the London Eye ~ looks like a chemist ~ judging by the bottles in the window. 🙂
The knitted dolls remind me of the ones my mum used to make for WI sales. Hers weren’t so scary though!
Yes, the South Bank is quite colourful in the evenings now, and very different to as I remember it in, say the 1980s, when the concrete buildings there seemed a lot drabber. They also have a carousel on the South Bank now, not far from the London Eye, with colourful mechanical horses that kids (and adults!) can ride on. And I agree, that strange building seems chemist-like, although I think it’s purely ornamental, and serves no practical purpose…
And as for the Gothalicious knitted dolls, I’m not surprised that skill runs in the family, as you seem to have inherited some of it yourself, going by some of the uploads to your own photoblog… :).
