More from Fratton Park…and an evening at the Kings Theatre in Southsea

A colourful offering from one of Fratton’s graffiti artists…

…and another…

The curtain that came down between the warm-up acts (The Virgin Soldiers and Chris Wood) and Joan Armatrading’s memorable set 🙂

Beautiful. I’ve always been fascinated with skillfully done graffiti and the curtain is wonderful.
Thankyou, caimbeul :). There is indeed some beautiful and artistic graffiti in Portsmouth and Southsea. I guess, by its very nature, graffiti is ephemeral, and for sure, some of the examples I photographed last year have already been overpainted with newer graffiti. Incidentally, if you type ‘graffiti’ into this blog’s search engine, you’ll see a number of other examples that I photographed in 2012 :).
PS. Yes, it is a lovely curtain, and it was an excellent gig by Joan Armatrading that evening :).
