Yes, it’s been glorious late summer weather in London for the past couple of days, and I trust it’s been similar for you on the Island :). Incidentally, a work colleague of mine travelled across the Solent on Wednesday to stay in a B & B (in Newport maybe) for the duration of the Bestival, and I hope you, as a local, don’t find it too disruptive a festival…:).
It has been wonderful. Unfortunately, now back at school though.
We are on the outskirts of Cowes, so wouldn’t even know it was going on unless we are down the town and see the obvious festival type people coming off of the Red Jet. Bestival is farther out of town than the Festival, so doesn’t seem to get many complaints from neighbours. Seems very popular ~ might make an effort to go one year. 😉
