The Lloyds TSB Olympic vehicle arrives at Fratton Park…around 7.20 am.
Sign at the top of Talbot Road…
And here it is, in Goldsmith Avenue, near Fratton Station…:)
Your view was a good deal better than ours!
Yes, we were lucky that the Fratton leg coincided with a rainy Monday morning in Portsmouth. The previous day, on a sunny Southsea Common, there were 60,000 people apparently, and the Fareham leg was pretty crowded that day too. I was actually in London all day Sunday, so the Fratton timing was perfect for me :).
