Haha, chance’d be a fine thing ;). It’s only that I’ve traipsed up and down the Charing Cross Road what seems to be thousands of times, and never once set foot inside this pub. I used to regularly go to the ‘Spice of Life’ pub further up the road, at Cambridge Circus, on Sunday afternoons mostly, to listen to live jazz sessions with a friend, and they were good times…but said friend has since moved to North Yorkshire, so I’ve now got out of the habit of Sunday visits to the ‘Spice of Life’…
